Crusoe Design Co. is the creative studio of Jon Brommet, a graphic designer and illustrator based in Muskoka, Ontario, specializing in brand identity and bold, product-driven graphics for sport, music, and lifestyle brands.

I have been obsessed with logos for as long as I can remember. Around age twelve, I distinctly recall asking who created the old Pepsi logo. When I was told a graphic designer made it, something clicked. At the time, I was already filling notebooks with carefully redrawn skateboard logos. I just did not yet realize that designing marks like that could become a career.

Not long after, I started a small clothing brand in my early teenage years. What began as selling shirts to friends quickly grew to friends of friends, then strangers, and eventually into a local skate, surf, and snow shop that carried many of the major brands popular at the time. That experience taught me more than design. It taught me production. I learned how to prepare artwork for screen printing, how to collaborate with professional print houses, and how design decisions translate onto real garments.

From there, I completed a three-year Graphic Design program at Georgian College, graduating with an Advanced Diploma and earning Dean’s List honors all three years.

Since launching Crusoe Design Co. in 2008, I have focused on developing logos, merchandise graphics, and visual identities built to live beyond the screen. My work blends strong illustration with deep production knowledge, ensuring that designs do not just look good digitally, but hold up on apparel, packaging, discs, boards, and other physical formats.

I have collaborated with artists and brands including Blink-182, Hi My Name Is Mark, Thought Space Athletics, and New Era. Many of these partnerships span multiple releases and evolving collections, requiring consistency, adaptability, and long-term creative direction.

In addition to client work, I have created and sold thousands of physical products through my own shop, from enamel pins and patches to prints and apparel. Producing those items required learning new manufacturing processes, material constraints, and finishing techniques that continue to inform how I approach every brand project.

I also teach design and production techniques to a global audience. More than 95,000 students have taken my courses, with over 2.6 million minutes watched. Teaching reinforces strong fundamentals and keeps me refining the same production standards I apply to professional work.

At its core, my design philosophy balances discipline with experimentation, pairing strong structure with creative grit. I am most at home creating graphics that are clear, confident, and built for the real world.

If you are building something meaningful and need visuals that can carry weight on physical product, I would love to connect.
